My path didn’t start in insurance, it started with ambition, uncertainty, and growth. At 21 years old in Baltimore City, I found myself rethinking my future. Music was my passion, and fitness reflected my lifestyle, but I knew I needed something more sustainable, something that could create long-term impact.
In 1995, I entered the automotive industry, selling vehicles and learning firsthand how to communicate value, build trust, and guide people through important financial decisions. By 2004, I transitioned into a role as a product specialist, where I trained sales professionals, helping them understand complex products and present them with confidence.
In 2008, I added another dimension to my career, becoming an independent life insurance agent. What started as a way to supplement my income quickly became a purpose-driven mission.
I realized that most people don’t struggle because they lack options, they struggle because they lack understanding.
That realization led to the creation of Dunlap Financial Services LLC, a business built not just on selling insurance, but on educating clients. Today, I help individuals, families, and business owners understand how insurance works, so they can make informed decisions and avoid costly gaps in coverage.
